In spite of the crowded bar when we arrived we were made very welcome and we quickly found somewhere to sit while we were served the kir royale my husband had ordered beforehand. We then had a delicious meal with wonderfully fresh halibut and delicious lobster! All staff were beautifully attentive and extremely helpful. Cannot recommend it enough.

Our welcome was correct but initially we were unable to have 'digestifs' sitting down. Our pre-ordered 'Kir' were waiting, unfinished, that is and we offered the more cassis should we wish. Food very passable.
The wine waiter was less than forthcoming and the waitresses whilst young lacked any form of charisma. No brown bread served with the oysters and only white was available.

Maybe worth trying the Table d'hote lunch special menu, a la carte not worth the money.
Service was slow even though not to many customers. Although menu looked promising it did not deliver. Poor chef.

Christian Le Squer est l’un des neuf chefs trois étoiles de la capitale. Son restaurant, Ledoyen, est un magnifique pavillon édifié en 1792 dont la salle de style Napoléon III offre une vue imprenable sur les jardins des Champs-Élysées.
