Pleasant restaurant with a lovely outlook. For a hotel restaurant the food was pretty good. My wife's artichoke starter and the venison main were both well prepared and quite inventively cooked.
The waiting staff were pleasantly mannered but much more focussed on setting the restaurant up for the following day's breakfast than with the 14 remaining customers in the restaurant at 9.50 - not exactly late! This is just plainly unacceptable to have the whole staff milling around moving tables before the dinner service is finished. Lots of marks deducted for this!
