We were attracted by this restaurant in our last night in Toledo. With the standard fare available in central Spain this seemed to be in a better league. The restaurant looks good and the staff were polite (perhaps a little to obsequious for our taste) The starters were quite good as were the deserts.
The mains were, however, a disappointment and something I would expect from much cheaper restaurants. The final bill of €101 was quite a shock - we had not spotted that I.V.A. at 7% was not included and had not expected the bread, not asked for and my partner did not eat hers, to be on the bill at €4.

Christian Le Squer est l’un des neuf chefs trois étoiles de la capitale. Son restaurant, Ledoyen, est un magnifique pavillon édifié en 1792 dont la salle de style Napoléon III offre une vue imprenable sur les jardins des Champs-Élysées.
